Is parking available?
Yes, free car, bus, and RV parking is available for self-drive visitors.
How long should I allow to see the exhibitions?
We recommend a minimum of one hour. Military enthusiasts might need 2–3 hours to fully enjoy the exhibits.
Are the tanks and artillery guns inside or outside?
All exhibits are indoors, so you can enjoy them in any weather.
How suitable is the exhibition for small children?
The exhibition includes large vehicles and artillery pieces. Parental discretion is advised for children under 5.
Can I take photos in the museum?
Yes, personal photography is permitted. Commercial photography must be arranged with management.
Can I re-enter the museum?
Yes, re-entry is allowed on the same day of ticket purchase. Annual passes are also available.

Do you have wheelchair access?
Yes, there is a ramp at the front. Larger mobility devices can access via a side door. Accessible restrooms are available.
Do you have a café?
There is a self-service area with a coffee machine and vending machines. Cash only. No cash-out available.
Can I get into a tank?
Visitors can touch and look inside tanks, but cannot climb in or operate them, except on supervised “Open Hatch Days.”
Can I shoot a tank or artillery gun?
No, they are deactivated per Queensland Weapons Act. However, you can try the shooting gallery.
Does the museum identify militaria?
Yes, staff can help identify militaria but do not provide valuations. Email inquiries are welcome.
How do I get a job at the museum?

What is the Shooting Gallery?
An underground 50m gallery. No license required. Packages available on-site.
How old do you have to be for the Shooting Gallery?
The minimum age is 12.
Is the Museum air-conditioned?
No, but there are large ceiling fans and roller doors for ventilation. Benches are available if you need a break.
What is an APC ride?
A ride in a modified 1960s 432 Armoured Personnel Carrier through a fun outdoor course. If unavailable, a Humvee is used instead.
